Covid Coldfacts was a site I developed ahead of winter 2020 when we were moving into the second surge of the pandemic.
It started with a “Walk through”, where I demonstrated the concept of “Flattening the curve” visually through scrolling behavior. I then got access to a county-level API that allowed for real-time stats on hospitalizations, deaths, ICU capacity, etc. The site updated itself each night.
